Sounds like a awesome trip. My favorite sail I've been on was

from St Lucia to Grenada. I'm sure you already know about Happy Island in the Grenadines, but if not, it's worth the stop. It was built using conch shells. \ Safe travels. ** Edited by MCL3 Hokie at 7/27/2026, 7:36:22 AM

If I could just remember the words to a Fleetwood Mac song.

Oh, wait, I do. know I got nothin' on you I know there's nothin' to do When times go bad And you can't get enough Won't you lay me down in the tall grass And let me do my stuff

The guy in the sweats was one of my sister's best friends. The two of them

actually took off after high school to travel the country in his VW microbus. I separate peoples clothes from their character. I was just stunned how casual things have become.

I was the only one with a suit and tie on at my sister's celebration of

life a week ago. I was shocked at what some of the attendees wore. I even saw sweat pants and a sweat shirt. I know she wouldn't have cared, but how decorum has changed!

Re: Who do you think replaces him?

I heard Curt Cignetti is on the short list. Would be a great hire.

Nope. I'll cross the 3 million mile mark on Delta mid next year.

Too much time on a plane traversing the world. Alcohol impedes my ability to beat jet lag.

My favorite story is when our company started issuing dividends

there was a long debate about whether we should start issuing a dividend and whether it should be 2%, or 3%. After a half hour, one of the board members spoke up and said, "If 3% is too high, and 2% is too low, has anyone thought about 2 1/2 %". I darn near fell out of my chair laughing.

My question is when a defensive player has committed his path to the

O player, and the O player drops his head, why does the defender get penalized?

I never let college interfere with my education.

I studied hard, but I was also always up for a good time whether it was a FB or BB game, or a trip to TOTS or Greeks. Life is a balancing act. I told my kids when they went off to college that there's plenty to learn that isn't in the books, but if you don't hit the books, you'll be learning it at home. When people ask what I majored in, I tell them I took MatE as a club.

Not me. The guy built a business over 30 years. Sold 2 years ago.

Never asked the price, but I’m guessing 9 digits. He’s still tight with his cash.

They were also looking in The Yellowstone Club in Montana. Swanky area.

I have a friend that just bought out there. ** Edited by MCL3 Hokie at 8/26/2025, 2:39:26 PM ** Edited by MCL3 Hokie at 8/26/2025, 2:43:20 PM ** Edited by MCL3 Hokie at 8/26/2025, 2:43:42 PM

To mess with you. Nick Gilder - Hot Child in the City

I know that's not it, but that song is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I have two that are just different enough in age that the same thing

happened. I'd take on to Louisville while my wife took the other to Cincinnati. If by chance they were playing in the same city, one would be in the morning squad and other in the afternoon squad. So, I'd be there from 7 am to 9 pm watching them play. ** Edited by MCL3 Hokie at 7/18/2025, 9:29:12 AM
